Finding a loved one dead would most likely cause a wave of distress for anyone. Rosario Dawson reacted in such a way when she found her cousin dead earlier this month.
The recordings of her 911 call surfaced on TMZ and Dawson is clearly overwhelmed when she finds Vaneza Ines Vasquez unconscious. The dispatcher tried to collect info from Dawson, including address and the age of her cousin. Dawson gets some of this info out (which was probably blocked out for privacy), but not before she grieved in shock. “Oh, my God,” she can be heard screaming throughout the recording.
At one point, it seems Dawson tried to resuscitate her 26-year-old cousin with the guidance of the dispatcher. Finally, when paramedics arrived to the Vince, California house, the call ended and Vasquez was transported to the hospital.
Officials have yet to determine Vazquez’s cause of death with toxicology results are still pending. According to TMZ, she was suffering from migraines and hypertension. We’ll keep you updated as more info surfaces.
