You can always count on White folks to turn something cool into something washed.
Just like cornrows and hip hop music, the word “lit” has officially been White washed, thanks to Donald Trump Jr.
So it’s pretty safe to say, RIP to “lit”. It’s been Trumped.
Some people wanted the word gone a long time ago!
And it stayed around longer than most of us anticipated. But when it’s your time to go, it’s your time to go.
