Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke stopped by the TODAY show to talk about the second season of HBO’s GIRLS this morning – and these girls are clearly just as much fun in real life as they are on the breakout hit series.

Before they got on air, the ladies kicked it backstage, snapped pictures and even met actor Jeff Bridges.
Lena spoke about the chance encounter:
“Jemima just introduced herself to Jeff Bridges. He looked, in a word, flummoxed.”
While it was all fun and games backstage, the women quickly got down to business, talking about how they were going to top a first season that featured lot of sex, a surprise wedding and even a little bit of smoking crack! Lena quickly chimed in, letting the viewers know they are about to go HAM!

“We’re continuing to push the envelope, I hope. I think if you love what we’re doing last season, we’re going to push it further. If you hated what we did last season you will hate it even more.”
Judging by the previews, the majority of GIRLS fans should get ready to fall in love even more. The second season premieres this Sunday, January 13th on HBO!
