Queens native Nas opened up to TMZ about their current relationship status.
Nas tells TMZ, the two are trying to put the past behind them in order to develop a healthy relationship for the benefit of their 3-year-old son Knight — but they are NOT reuniting romantically.
The rapper says they’ve been on good terms for a while now and he hopes it will continue. Nas and Kelis even grabbed dinner last night in L.A. together.
The couple went through a nasty divorce back in 2009, while Kelis was 7 month pregnant. Things got so bad between the two that Nas actually found out she was having their baby from TMZ … now that’s bad!
But time heals all wounds and it’s good to see the couple trying to work on their friendship.
