Neil Patrick Harris Can Wed David Burtka, Finally!

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka can finally get married, and that’s exactly what they plan on doing! As New York has finally legalized gay marriage, Neil Patrick Harris and his partner of 7 years can finally make their love official, legally anyway.

Harris took to twitter as the news came that gay marriage would finally be legalized. He tweeted: ‘It PASSED! Marriage equality in NY!! Yes!! Progress!! Thank you everyone who worked so hard on this!! A Historic night!’

He later tweeted that although it seemed like they had decided to marry as soon as the news was announced, the couple had actually been planning to marry for awhile.

The couple are parents to fraternal twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace who were born by a gestational carrier last October.
