Many of you know him from the love scene in The Notebook and many of you will know him by this summer’s end in the upcoming movie Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Ryan is the result of many celebrity crushes and co-star in his upcoming movie Steve Carell even agreed that he is “very handsome.”

While all the ladies in town are flocking to the theaters to see Ryan on the big screen, we all will be seeing it too because we appreciate Ryan for his looks but most importantly, his acting prowess! OK, maybe his looks, too.

Ryan was born in Canada and started performing at an early age.

Ryan didn’t want a Canadian accent because he “didn’t sound tough. I thought guys should sound like Marlon Brando. So now I have a phony accent that I can’t shake, so it’s not phony anymore.”

Ryan dropped out of high school at 17 to put more focus on his acting career.

Ryan has been nominated for an Academy Award in the movie Half Nelson for best leading actor and two Golden Globe Awards for the movies Lars and the Real Girl and Blue Valentine.

Ryan found love on the set of The Notebook when he and co-star Rachel McAdams had a relationship from 2004-2007.

After they broke up, Ryan was quoted saying, “God bless The Notebook… It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me a disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that.”

This summer’s movie Crazy, Stupid, Love is Ryan’s first comedy film.

Ryan also once dated Sandra Bullock for over a year who is 16 years older than him.
