  • mur·der/ˈmərdər/
  • Noun: The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.
  • Verb: To Kill (someone) unlawfully and with premeditation.

First and foremost, I would like to say that I love and respect Michael Jackson and believe he in the sole reason why half of the artists today create music.

With that said, I do not believe his untimely and saddening death was a murder.

I know many diehard MJ fans may be upset with my point of view, but as a deep admirer of Michael, I don’t believe his death was a premeditated killing.

Conrad Murray didn’t murder Michael Jackson.

Is Conrad Murray responsible for the death of Michael Jackson? Hell yes!

I’m not even going to address him with the title of doctor, because he lost that privilege with his unethical, immoral practice of medicine a long time ago.

Conrad Murray is single-handedly responsible for the death of Michael Jackson, but I don’t think he premeditated the killing of Michael Jackson.

He was grossly negligent and horribly irresponsible in his actions, which in turn left our beloved King of Pop dead.

As a doctor, it was Conrad Murray’s responsibility to take care of and look after the well-being of Michael, and he failed to do so.

Once he found out that Michael was unconscious, he should have called 911 immediately, but he didn’t.

Instead, he realized that the boundaries of his duty to take care of Michael had been crossed to the point of no return, and he decided to attempt to save his own ass.

Why is it that after your patient lays unconscious in their home, do you realize that what you were doing to them was wrong?

Conrad Murray should have put his foot down, despite the alleged begging of Michael for the Propofol.

Michael Jackson’s death was senseless, unnecessary, preventable and untimely, and Conrad Murray will have to take responsibility.

The problem today with many of these celebrity doctors is that they become easily persuaded by their wealthy patients’ monetary compensation, and they lose their morals when it comes to the practice of medicine.

Conrad Murray isn’t the first doctor to be accused of being grossly negligent when it comes to taking care of their celebrity patients.

Doctors who prescribe six different anti-depressants, painkillers and anxiety medications to celebrities are just as guilty of contributing to the demise of their patients as Conrad Murray.

Doctors need to be doctors and tell their patients NO when drugs are unnecessary.

I had strep throat a few years ago and my doctor wouldn’t even prescribe me antibiotics, because he said I was “strong enough to fight off the infection” myself. I wanted to slap the man, but at the end of the day, he helped me out in the long run.

With Conrad Murray on trial for the death of Michael Jackson, it’s apparent that he’s responsible, for which he should pay.

How Conrad Murray should pay is the question. Jail time? Life in prison? Probation?

Is Conrad Murray a murderer? No, but he’s a stupid individual who put his needs in front of his patient and he will have to answer to the Jackson Family and his maker in the end.

We all miss Michael and wish he were still alive, and since the man who is accused of murdering Michael is now facing his fate, what should be his punishment?

That I can not answer, but the court of public opinion will decide.

RIP Michael Jackson, we miss you always.

Tell me what you think is an adequate punishment for the death of Michael below.
