Cash Money stunned the music world when they announced that rockers Limp Bizkit would be joining the YMCMB family.

It’s been a few months since their initial announcement and according to Fred Durst, everything is going great.

In a recent interview with MTV, Fred Durst dished about his new music home and why Lil Wayne and Birdman signed Limp Bizkit.

“They feel that spirit and that power, and they wanted to give us an opportunity to be ourselves and take it to the next level. That’s what YMCMB is all about.”

Fred goes on to express his admiration for the whole YMCMB family:

“I love their music, and I’ve been a fan. To be a part of the family, it just feels like the only place that’s a perfect fit for Limp Bizkit and myself. It’s a polarizing statement, but at the same time, it’s a big deal.”

Limp Bizkit took the music scene by storm with the release of their debut album Three Dollar Bill Yall$ in 1997.

Since then, Fred and his crew have created smash hits like “Nookie,” “Faith,” and “Break Stuff.”

Glad Fred’s loving his new home, and maybe he can help Wayne out with his latest beef with G.O.O.D. music’s Pusha T.
