EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Kendrick Lamar Says He’s To Blame For Delayed J.Cole Collaboration

In honor of the one-year anniversary of his debut album, ColeWorld: The Sideline Story, which debuted at number one on the Billboard charts with 218,000 copies sold, J.Cole decided to release a never-before-heard collaboration he did with Major Lazer.  

“Strictly for the survivors/ the 800 number dodgers/boy, what I tell yo ass about picking up that phone, when you number unknown/tell them people I ain’t home/ half black learning white lies/niggas broke her heart now she trying white guys,” rap J.Cole.

J.Cole hopped on Twitter to publicly thank Diplo and the whole Major Lazer crew:

“Much love to @majorlazer and my man @diplo. Let this be a thank you to all of you who bought a copy of my 1st album 1 year ago today. The words were too relevant to keep this in the stash.”

Now, fans are waiting for J.Cole to release his follow up album, as well as his mixtape collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.
