Nas has been making his rounds promoting his album that’s hitting stores July 17th and the Queensbridge head hancho headed across the pond to catch up with the infamous Tim Westwood.
The rapper touched on quite a few subjects, from his album cover featuring the wedding dress of his ex wife Kelis, to his thought of that Nicki Minaj Hot 97 Summer Jam fiasco and much more.
On the mishap with Nicki Minaj and Hot 97’s host Peter Rosenberg Nasir says:
“I was just happy to see them work it out. Hot 97 and hip-hop artists, we all one family. I feel she was right to resolve it and let’s just get along.”
What a peaceful guy!
On why things didn’t workout with the “Milkshake” singer Kelis he says:
“Money was never a thing. Money is money, it’s material. Love is real. Money isn’t. At the end of the day, that didn’t matter. It wasn’t like she came at me like that. The way it came out in public was like that. It just went wrong in a lot of areas.”
But the rapper hasn’t given up on love! He tells Tim:
“I still will marry again. If I get hit by that love, I’ll still do it again. It’s just life. You live and learn and you grow.”

He even sends his ex a shoutout:
“Shout out to Kelis. She’s an amazing woman and that’s the mother of my child and she’s great and everything is good.”
It looks like Nas has matured a lot and his album is definitely appropriately title for his new minset.
