Even in her later years, Madonna can be as feisty as any pop superstar on this planet. Case in point: the current beef she has with legendary singer Elton John.

Their beef has been cooking for years. But things reached its peak when Elton John sent some ether Madonna’s way, saying:
“Why is she such a nightmare? Her career is over, I can tell you that. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger cu*t.”
During a show in France on Tuesday, Madonna had a funny moment of payback. During the set, Madonna dedicated a song to Mr. John. She said:
“I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere.”

Then the music to “Masterpiece” started to play. And Madonna started to smile. If you don’t know, “Masterpiece” beat out Elton John and Lady Gaga’s duet, “Gnomeo and Juliet,” for a Golden Globe last year.
Ouch…that Madonna sure knows how to sting.
