Chris Brown wasn’t the only person throwing subliminal shade at Frank Ocean during Grammy night.

NEW MUSIC: Frank Ocean “Eyes Like Sky”

Apparently, R&B singer Miguel hopped on the shade bus too. All three men were up for the “Best Urban Contemporary” Album, but R&B newcomer Frank Ocean nabbed the coveted award, which prompted a standing ovation by the entire music community – minus Chris and Miguel.

The media chose to focus on Chris Brown not standing for Frank, but they forgot to mention Miguel didn’t stand either.

NEW VIDEO: Miguel “Candle In The Sun”

Both singers clapped for the “Pink Matter” singer, but neither of them had the energy to give him the proper applause.

TMZ caught up with Miguel in Los Angeles, and asked him about the shade he threw at Frank Ocean, and surprisingly, he said he doesn’t regret a thing.

TMZ Reports

You’ll recall, Miguel lost to Frank for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the Grammy Awards this year … and while everyone stood to clap for Frank, Miguel remained seated.

Chris Brown also lost to Frank, and remained seated as well. Miguel was out in L.A. yesterday when we asked if he had any lingering feelings of guilt for dissing Frank … and let’s just say, he wasn’t feeling too apologetic.

Despite having no regrets, Miguel did offer up a half-hearted congrats to Mr. Ocean.
