Hip-hop’s latest phenom, Atlanta rapper Trinidad Jame$, made his New York City debut to a sold out crowd.
After waiting the typical three hours until the main act arrives on stage, concertgoers definitely didn’t need to pop a molly to start sweating.
The overly crowded concert hall was filled with hundreds of music journalists, curious critics, and record label execs like Kevin Liles. Even R&B singer Trey Songz had to witness the hype surrounding the “All Gold Everything” rapper in living color.

Some of you reading this may still be confused: “Who the hell is Trinidad Jame$?” “Where did he come from?” “Why does he look like Jimi Hendrix, Ol Dirty Bastard, and Bootsy Collins’ possible love child?”
The list of questions could be endless while attempting to become familiar with the newly popular rapper, but one thing is for sure, Trinidad Jame$ will be next in 2013.
Despite the Trinidad & Tobago-born rapper being relatively new to the game (he’s only been rapping for 10 months), unlike most hip-hop newbies, the “One More Molly” rapper is very sure of his image and his music.
He’s been co-signed by Rick Ross, with rumors about a possible MMG signing, and he’s been in the studio working with the “King Of The South,” rapper T.I.
Not to mention, Trinidad has also been embraced by Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky and the entire A$AP Mob.
During Rocky’s show in Atlanta, the “F*ckin Problems” rapper showed Trinidad love by bringing him out on tour. Trinidad made sure to return the favor to Rocky during last night’s show.
A$AP Ferg performed his internet smash “Work,” which has over 1.1 million views on YouTube, as A$AP Rocky played the background as a happy hypeman to his good friend.
