Even though French Montana’s debut album Excuse My French has been pushed back numerous times, don’t think the original Coke Boy hasn’t been grindin’.

MUSIC: Future & French Montana “Down & Out”

Last week, the Bronx-native released his album’s latest single, the dance hall-influenced “Freak,” which features Nicki Minaj

Then, French shot the video for the track in L.A. Of course the cameras were running and they caught some cool behind the scenes footage.

In the footage, we see a number of sexy girls dancing around Frenchy in a smoky club. French also drops some tidbits about how the track was made. French admitted that the song, which was produced by Rico Love, was originally for Wale.

The rapper said:

“Wale like my brother. He had it first, so one day he played it for me. I said, ‘Yo, can I have it? Him just being my brother, and really just wanting to see me do good, he gave it to me. Thank you, Wale.”

Check out the entire behind the scenes footage above, and look out for the video to drop soon.
