After cutting her head following a fall, Barbara Walters was taken to a hospital Saturday night, but is alert and doing well.

Reportedly the reknowned TV host was visiting the British Ambassador’s residence when she fell on a stair and cut her forehead.
TMZ reports:

Jeffrey W. Schneider, senior vice president of ABC News, tells POLITICO, “Out of an abundance of caution, she went to the hospital to have her cut tended to, have a full examination and remains there for observation. Barbara is alert (and telling everyone what to do), which we all take as a very positive sign.”
