The re-election of President Barack Obama has angered many in 13 states across America, as residents in Louisiana, New York and Texas have signed petitions to the Obama administration to withdraw peacefully from the United States of America and create its own new government.

As reported by Red Alert Politics:

The petition, posted to the online White House petitions page, cites the Declaration of Independence stating that it is the right of the people to form a new government when the current one is not respecting the, “consent of the governed.”

Michael E from Slidell, LA created the petition on Nov. 7, the day after President Barack Obama was re-elected to office. Now, just four days later, he has 3,029 signatures of support from fellow Louisianans and other supporters from surrounding states.

Residents of Texas joined suit on Friday and created their own petition, which currently has more than 5,000 signatures.

13 other states, including New York, Kentucky, Colorado and New Jersey, have also filed similar petitions.

Serving more to make a point than to present a serious proposition, the petitions won’t be taken seriously by the Obama administration.
