The term “Zombie Apocalypse” has been buzzing everywhere since the vicious attack in Miami on Saturday during which a crazed man ate another man’s face. But the government is stepping in to shut all the Zombie talk down.

With a series of other cannibal-like stories hitting the news, folks have become concerned a Zombie takeover is going down, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says there’s no such thing.

The CDC spokesman David Daigle tells Huffington Post:

“CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms)”

The 31 year old Rudy Eugene’s, who ate the face of the 65-year-old homeless man Ronald Poppo, body was un-phased by the hail of police bullets piercing his body until he finally collapsed.

On Tuesday Alexander Kinyua, a student from Maryland confessed to murdering his roommate and then eating parts of his heart and brain. It has also been reported that in New Jersey a man stabbed himself multiple times in front of police and then threw piece of his skin and intestine at the cops.
