This week’s episode of Red Bull Spiral featured one of the most respected and recognizable duos in hip-hop. Click inside to find out who made an appearance and to watch the performance.

Based on the popular Japanese format, Red Bull Rasen, Red Bull Spiral invited 3-4 MCs to Red Bull’s Los Angeles recording studio to collaborate on a one-of-a-kind cypher. Filmed in one continuous take, Red Bull Spiral challenges even the most seasoned artists to stay cool under pressure and deliver perfect bars as the camera spins through the studio, capturing every movement. Red Bull Spiral is part of the newly introduced Red Bull 1520, a YouTube channel dedicated to hip-hop programming from the world of Red Bull, featuring beats, bars and live performances from rap’s next movement.

On the latest episode which premiered today (June 6), The Cool Kids and Mother Nature put on a show. The two renowned crews (who both just so happen to hail from the Midwest with roots in Chicago) stopped by the Red Bull Studios to deliver an epic, one take freestyle over an iconic Chuck Inglish beat.

Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish, also known as The Cool Kids, are blog era hip-hop pioneers and trendsetters. With roots in Detroit and Chicago, the duo formed after meeting on Myspace and created a retro-futuristic movement inspired by a wide range of musical influences. Mother Nature is the women-led hip-hop duo of Klevah and TRUTH. Hailing from Chicago and Houston, the duo creates a sound best described as “fresh nostalgia” with their music providing both substance and simplicity.
