Gareth Pugh is one of the most forward thinking designers on the scene today.
His pieces are a favorite among the likes of Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Beyonce. All of these mega-stars have worn his creations on stage, in videos and even out on the town. His asymmetrical and geometric inspired creations are so unique, that the latest project he’s taking on is none other than the ballet!

The English born designer will be collaborating with Wayne McGregor on a play called “Carbon Life.” The play will actually be scored by hit-maker Mark Ronson, so it will definitely attract a very eclectic crowd.
The first look of his costume harkens back to a mix of Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a spider. We don’t know how the dancers will be able to perform in outfits like this, but they’re definitely great to look at.
