Ke$ha brushes her teeth with a bottle of Jack, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love cute, cuddly blue eyed kittens.

The always over the top songstress traded in her grit for a girly look as the cover girl of Seventeen magazine.

The 25-year-old California girl may be a long way from 17, but the message she shares with the mag resonates with just about every age group.

The songstress posed for a shoot that included all things un-Ke$ha, including pink, flowers and kittens, but she stayed true to her edge with a gold tooth while chatting about everything from her bisexuality to the meaning behind her newest album Warrior.

LIST: THE RISE & FALL! Ke$ha & Other Artists Who Plummeted On The Charts

Check out some excerpts from the interview below.

On her sexuality:

“I don’t love just men. I love people. It’s not about a gender. It’s just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you’re with.”

On her stance towards bullying:

“I’m all about standing up to gay/lesbian/transgender bullying, but it’s also about my little brother. He’s 13 and he gets made fun of because he has a stutter. I just have zero tolerance for people making fun of others.”

On the name of her latest album:

“I remember every person who told me I couldn’t do something or that I was ugly or too fat. I have a ‘sh-t list’ -— people from my past who have been soulless and judgmental. Even after I got through my awkward phase, got my braces off, and figured out how to dress my body, people in the music business were like, ‘You’re never going to make it.’ I see them now and I’m like, ‘Ha!’ That’s one of the reasons I named my record Warrior. You can be a victim and let that eat your soul, or you can say, ‘You’re going on my list and I’m going to prove you wrong!’”

And as an added bonus, Seventeen cleverly crafted this video of Ke$ha and that adorable nameless kitten while she talked about her love for animals and her unique personal style.
