Richard Chai was one of the first to designers to show during this season’s Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week. His Richard Chai Love Spring/Summer 2013 collection came down the runway yesterday and we have to admit – we loved it!
The color palette was perfect for the spring, but definitely included some colors that could easily transition into fall.

Richard played around with a lot of different textures. He utilized a bit of color blocking, almost transparent materials, some neutral colors, a lot of blues and just a dash of shimmer.
There also seemed to be an athletic inspiration to the collection, which made it seem whimsical and easier to wear. The jackets, track pants and zip-neck shirts reflect the athletic sensibilities of the collection, but he also managed to fit in a few suits and dresses to round out the collection.
