Solange is in full swing for summer and her printed looks and punchy style are coming along for the ride.
The songstress is putting in overtime, traveling and performing hits from her latest EP, True. And this weekend was no exception, as Solange took the stage to perform at the Field Day Festival in London, England. For the occasion, Solange went for a monochrome look, sporting striped lounge pants from KAELEN’s Spring 2013 collection.
The New York City based brand was launched in 2010 and Solange rocking out in the threads is definitely a good look! She paired the look with two different prints of the same monochrome color scheme for a master lesson in what mixing prints should look like.
To mix efficiently, focus on one busy print, normally the smaller, tighter pattern, which are the pants in this case, and mix with bold patterns with more negative space on top.
