Tom Ford may be one of the last big shows during London Fashion Week, but he went out with a bang!

The Fall/Winter 2013 presentation took place at the Lancaster House in the posh St. James district of London, and while there was no lack of the usual Tom Ford elegance, the pieces were a lot more eccentric then we’re used to seeing.

The collection was definitely on trend, with the pops of color and mixing patterns. In some instances, the color came from what looked like an animated (almost juvenile) picture of an explosion right on the side of a dress. Other hints of color came from the bright outerwear and a choice few of the standout pieces mixed with other black and white looks that made up the majority of the collection.

We can’t say that we expected the burst of color and whimsical designs from the usually revealing Tom Ford. Instead he went for a very feminine and flattering look, with many jackets offering high neck collars and dramatic shapes.
