It’s been nearly a month since the “not guilty” verdict was read to the court in the case of George Zimmerman against the state of Florida in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, but that doesn’t mean the fight for justice has subsided.

Russell Simmons celebrated his 14th annual Art For Life event in East Hampton, and the occasion featured a red carpet full of star-studded guests ranging from Rick Ross to Maxwell, hostess of the night Soledad O’Brian and more, but of course, the most important man of the hour was the boss man himself, Russell Simmons.

GlobalGrind’s Makho Ndlovu was the red carpet correspondent for the night, and she spoke with Russell as well as Anthony Anderson about the verdict and where the fight for justice should go from here.
