If you turned on ESPN this week, you probably saw Drake. Son has been on an ESPN-based show everyday, from Sportscenter to First Take. (Not only was he pushing his new album, Nothing Was The Same, but he was also selling that FIFA game).

One of the more interesting interviews occurred when Drizzy appeared on Highly Questionable. One of the questions the hosts asked, which no one else really asked, is what happened that night when he couldn’t get into the Miami Heat locker room after the team won the 2013 championship.

Here’s what he said:

“As a joke I tried to go in with the media through the media entrance, as they were all swarming in. That was a great night, one of the greatest nights of my life. But that was probably the highlight, getting denied by that old guy and it making news everywhere. That’s a classic moment. I’m allowed to go in the Heat locker room for the most part, I just tried to do it a funny way. It didn’t work out for me, I’ll never do it again.”

Lesson learned, Drake?
