We have sadly learned that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have broken up.

A source has exclusively told E! News that the now former couple called it quits about a week ago.

The source reveals the two's hectic schedules was just not practical for a relationship, saying:

"Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship,"

Another insider tells Us Weekly:

"Selena broke up with Justin about a week ago. It's been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules,"

It appears hectic schedules wasn't the only problem. The insider also tells the site:

"Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin."

Rumors have been swirling that the Biebs split from the actress a couple weeks ago and the word on the street became very convincing when the "Baby" singer was spotted with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin, at the Broadway showing of The Lion King, two nights ago in NYC.

It's no secret that some of Bieber's fans have had it out for Selena, since she came into the picture. She told the radio station, Z100 in March:

"I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot, but I try not to focus on it."

Well it looks like the Bieliebers may have gotten what they asked for.

The Biebs and Selena are back on the market but we wish both stars the best and hope that they can remain friends.
