Samuel L. Jackson Talks Playing The Most "Reviled Negro In Cinematic History"

The most controversial movie of the year, Django Unchained, finally hit theatres yesterday.

The movie is full of memorable characters, but none stand out like Stephen, who is a "house Negro." 

It's a great character for a great actor to play. Our man Samuel L. Jackson plays Stephen, and he completely puts his foot into the role.

Our Entertainment Editor BlogXilla spent a couple of minutes speaking to the legendary actor. The two talked about a range of topics, including what it was like to go from playing Martin Luther King Jr. — in the Broadway play The Mountaintop — to playing the ultimate "house Negro." Not only that, but Sam reveals more, including white folks apologizing on the Django Unchained set and what Samuel's wife thinks about the movie.
