Hip-hop has a history of promising dope collabo projects and then not delivering - we're still waiting for that Y.O.L.O. album, Drake and Rick Ross. But there's something about this latest potential project that feels real.

Last night, Alabama’s Yelawolf went on Twitter to confirm that Country Cousins, a collabo album with Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T. is in fact in the works, and will be hosted by the veteran DJ Skee:

Big K.R.I.T. and DJ Skee both went on to retweet the huge news that Yelawolf broke.

For months, both rappers have hinted at the possibly of doing a joint project, however, this is the firmest confirmation we've gotten.

We're not sure whether it will be an album or mixtape, but whatever it is, we know it'll be epic!
