The unedited 911 call of the Bo Morrison shooting was released late last night by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. It has possibly shed more light into what exactly happened when Adam Kind shot and killed the 20-year-old while he was hiding on his back porch.

For some reason, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department had originally released an edited version of the 911 tape, which is not customary in these types of cases. After pressure from GlobalGrind and others, the police released the entire tape, which included an additional one minute and twelve seconds of new audio.
In the new audio, there is a line from Mr. Kind that we have never heard before, and it could potentially include a racial slur (at 3:04 mark). According to the 911 audio, as Kind’s wife is on the phone with the police dispatcher you can hear Kind himself – before he is cut off from the commotion saying “stupid fucking kid.” then what happens next is the part that we need clarity on. It appears that Mr. Kind says something to the effect, “damn ni**ers always doing something.” You can take a listen for yourself and see if you can hear it. We have contacted an audio expert and will be evaluating this very closely today.
When the Washington County Sheriff’s Department originally released an edited version of the 911 call, they said all that was removed were the caller’s use of names and other identifying information.
However on this unedited version, it is clear that the police removed entire chunks of audio that had nothing to do with protecting anyone’s identity.
Bo was fleeing an underage drinking party next door when he ducked into Kind’s back porch at about 2 a.m. on March 3. Less than five minutes later, Kind confronted him and fired one shot at his chest.
Washington County District Attorney Mark Bensen ruled the shooting was justified, prompting an effort by Morrison’s family and friends to repeal Wisconsin’s Castle Doctrine Law, passed last year. It presumes someone acted reasonably when they use deadly force against an unlawful intruder to their home, business or vehicle.
The Morrison family’s attorney, Ryan Hetzel of West Bend, had also requested all uncensored sheriff’s office records. He said he is researching the possibility of a civil suit over the shooting.
Bo’s family has created a change.org petition in hopes of repealing the Castle Doctrine law in Wisconsin.
