If you’re a hip hop head like myself then you know the classic Gladys Knight sample from Wu Tang Clan’s first album. ‘Hey you know everybody’s talkin’ about the good old days. Everybody… The good old days, the good old days! Well, let’s talk about the good old days’ Back in the good ole days we didn’t have blogs, just The Source. While we waiting for The Source to arrive, we watched wrestling, every Saturday and Sunday morning. 

During the week, we let our tapes rock until our tapes popped. If you were cleaver enough you know how to rock your cassette tape longer, even when the tape did pop. Sure you would lose a small part of a song, but you didn’t care you still let it bump from your boom box with pride. Those were the good ole days. Well young bucks, today we are going back to the good ole days of rap and wrestling as I give you a brief history of our culture of rap and wrestling.
