A judge sentenced 31-year-old Jenny Granados to 50 years in prison for mudering her newborn baby.
She was was charged with murder after leaving her baby to die in a hospital trash can in February 2008.
A friend brought her to the Memorial Southwest emergency room because Grenandos was suffering severe abdominal cramps.
