Adlibs have always been a part of the emcees skillset, but it in recent years they’ve become an even bigger part of the game. Pretty much every major emcee has that signature adlib that announces their presence on a track. Their catchphrase, their mark. AYE! OKAY! (ayy, oh-kay) – e.g. Banana donk chevy interior look like the Lakers (Aye!)/ Lebron James wrist when I’m fuckin’ with that caper (Okay!)
