German company, Ultrasone AG, released the Edition 8 and Edition 9 headphones and now they’re back with their first open back headphones, Edition 10.
Reading about these headphones are the closest most of us will ever get to them. The headphones are of limited edition, with only 2000 units being manufactured.
The cup inlays of the headphones feature Zebrano wood with layers of coating for protection, Ethopian sheepskin leather ear cup pads, and titanium drivers. It also featurues and silver plated, oxygen-free, 99.9 percent pure copper and aremid wires, coated with Kevlar to help increase current flow, improve flexibility and durability and decrease the weight of the headphones.
Pretty awesome right? Well the price just may make you change your mind. All of these luxury features make for a smooth and expensive listening experience.
The headphones go for $2,750. Yes you read correctly, over two thousand dollars. They’re always nice to look at right?
