The beauty of Black women is hard to overlook, yet it seems some scientists haven’t done thorough research. Psychology Today blogger Satoshi Kanazawa recently posted an article entitled “Why are Black women less physically attractive than other women?”

As if the title was not absurd enough, Kanazawa went on to state that the testosterone hormone is to blame for the less flattering features of African-American women.

Our question for the social scientist is just this: where do you get your material? The essence of a Black woman’s beauty can’t be rated by opinion polls or pseudo-scientific assumptions.

Of all shades from dark to light, African-American women preserve unique features that women and men of other races have long admired: high cheek bones, full lips, dark eyes. Even over the years Black women are known to “age like fine wine.”

We at GlobalGrind decided to help Satoshi verify his studies before May 21st gets here.
