Maybe it’s the music or maybe it’s the marijuana, either way it seems that Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson have a great deal in common and are very close friends. So close that Los Angeles-based R&R Gallery is hosting a new group show called “Willie & Snoop” based around the odd couple.

Between the braids, the music, the weed and their laid back attitude, it’s starting to make more sense for these two to be friends and maybe the artwork will bring them closer.

Beginning on June 24th, you will be able to see artwork on display by various artists who have made some pretty interesting pieces based around the friendship. The pieces range from abstract art to drawings and photography and all have a Snoop and Willie motif in common.

If you are in the L.A.area you should definitely check it out, in the meantime you can take a look at some of the piecies from the exhibit after the break.
