In the hip-hop world, there have been so few female MCs.
There is a new chick in town however, her name is Mona L and there seems to be no doubt that she’s rivaling the talent of every rapper currently out, men included.
With a newly released mixtape titled Pardon My Back, she certainly is claiming her stomping grounds.
The NY-based rapper has tracks with Jadakiss, Fred The Godson, Oun P, Remo and even Fatman Scoop who has cosigned the rising star’s talent numerous times.
This sight for sore eyes and tremendously skilled young woman is being celebrated throughout all of the New York boroughs.
Her “Hustle Hard” freestyle shook Harlem and is being played all over Hot 97 and Power 105.1, in addition to her single “New Love” featuring Jadakiss & Remo.
Her single, named after the mixtape, “Pardon My Back” feat. Fatman Scoop is being spun by the hottest DJs regularly.
It seems like Ms. Mona L got next and we can’t wait to see what else is in store! We think she may be able to give Nicki Minaj a run for her money!
