Reaping the benefits of his 10 year deal with Live Nation, Jay-Z will bank over $150 million when it comes to dealings with anything Live Nation related. The king of hip-hop is also a smart businessman.

Jay-Z has stakes on the professional NBA team New Jersey Nets, the 40/40 club chain, an advertising firm, as well as record sales and other miscellaneous deals he has on the side.

This year, Jay-Z beat out his biggest contender Diddy with $37 million this year, while Diddy came in as a close second with $35 million.

The rappers who round out Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list is quite an interesting one.

Eminem has been touring like a mad man and he’s the head of his own label. His savvy business efforts have clocked him in at #6 with $14 million.

Snoop Dogg‘s been in the rap game for almost 20 years now, and he’s still coming in as a top dog with $14 million in earnings.

Dr. Dre is probably one of hip-hop’s most notable producers and he’s behind acts like Eminem and 50 Cent. Dr. Dre clocked in at a cool $14 million.
