The Curzon Mayfair in London welcomed actress Kirsten Dunst last night as she worked the red carpet at the premiere of her new film Melancholia, directed by Danish filmmaker Lars Von Trier.

Kirsten chose a Spring 2012 Honor dress and looked sanguine in the ensemble, despite the fact that her film is about a woman experiencing depression while Earth is threatened with collision from an unexpected planet.
“I think that most human beings go through some sort of depression in their life. And if they don’t, I think that’s weird,” Kirsten said on the red carpet.
The film is a must see for Dunst and Von Trier fans and is as haunting a study in drama and sci-fi. It opens stateside in November.
