Photos surfaced last week of a nekkid Big Sean. Reports claimed it was him, but we weren’t so sure.
Aside from skirting around the nude photos issue, Sean is consumed with work, currently in the midst of his “I Am Finally Famous Tour,” and recording his sophomore album which is set to come out by summer 2012.

With his busy schedule, we were lucky enough to catch up with Big Sean recently and get the 411 on those d*ck pictures, as well as chat him up about what else he’s got going on.

GlobalGrind: What’s it like being one of the only rappers in the game reppin’ for Detroit?
It’s real tight that I can be a vessel for Detroit and a positive influence. I was talking to my mom and telling her I appreciate her for really supporting my dream and letting me be an example, that it’s cool to do what you love to do. It’s cool to follow your heart.
I learned from my Grandma who’s paralyzed in a wheelchair, she’s 97 years old with a smile on her face everyday and I realize she’s happy, because she did everything she wanted to do. She lived her dreams and followed her heart. I never want to be her age and look back thinking ‘I woulda, coulda, shoulda’ done anything. I’m glad I can be an example for Detroit. The more popular you are, the easier it is to get attention for the city.
Who’s your favorite artist to do songs with?
Kanye, because he brings the best out of you. He’ll push you, he’ll tell you if he thinks your sh*t is wack. Wiz (Khalifa) is fun too. I only make music with my homies.

What are you doing, taking pictures like that?
I was worried about those pictures, I didn’t know where they were going. I’ll just tell you, don’t pay attention to everything you read.
