We think it’s safe to say that Black models had a great year in 2011, but we’re certain we’ll receive mail lamenting otherwise!

Several Black models were on our radar when we thought about who should make it on GlobalGrind’s Most Successful Model Of The Year List®.

STORY: African Models Have Been Doin’ It For Years!

We thought of Joan Smalls, Fatima Siad, Jessica White, Arlenis Sosa, Sessilee Lopez and a host of others, but the two that came back to us often were British models Jourdan Dunn and Nyasha Matonhodze.
