Exit Art on Manhattan’s Midtown West Side was the place to be earlier this month when Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos presented new features for guests who will lodge with the legendary brand in 2012.

The presentation was standing room only at the not-for-profit art-space which was used to showcase a new, innovative and free guest amenity program called The Sound of Your Stay™ (SOYS).

Produced by BMF Media Group, the showcase included performances by Mayer Hawthorne & the County, The Smiths guitarist Andy Rourke, DJ ?uestlove, DJ Jeffrey Tonnesen, and two-time DMC world champion DJ Shiftee.

Justin Norvell, Fender’s Director of Electric Guitar Marketing, was on hand as an expert to teach guests how to use the picks. program.

The Sound of Your Stay amenity program is designed to provide Hard Rock guests with a unique and all-encompassing music experience. The program is currently offered at a limited number of properties, with plans to continue rolling out beginning early 2012.

Eventually, all properties will offer this musical amenity. The Sound of Your Stay program includes three elements available for free to hotel guests: tracks, where guests, at check-in, are given a code to download one of three 15 song playlist; picks, an exclusive guitar amenity program in partnership with Fender®, for serious guitar players as well as novices; and mix, a new DJ amenity program where guests can choose from one of several Traktor Kontrol S2 systems and software, to load on their PC or Mac, and a pair of SOUL by Ludacris High Def headphones to rock out in their rooms.
