The actress/musician officially filed for divorce from the Death Cab For Cutie lead singer after two years.
Zooey, whose career has been booming with the success of her new show New Girl, unfortunately hasn’t had the same luck with her love life.

Back in November, a rep for the actress said the two were separated, and now it sounds like they weren’t able to mend their relationship.

According to TMZ, “irreconcilable differences” was the reason for the split, but everyone insists Zooey and Ben are still on friendly terms.
We keep saying 2012 is going to be the year of love, so we’ll just chalk this split up to residual left over from 2011 – the year of the break up.
