On Friday we got the chance to check out the Tommy Hilfiger Menswear show down at Park Avenue Armory in NYC and it was amazing!

The show had a garden like setting which may have explained the equestrian like piecing on a lot of the looks.

As many of you know, Tommy Hilfiger is one the foremost curators of all things prep and he hit his mark extremely well on this collection.

A lot of the items had leather piecing, while some of our favorite pieces incorporated quilting into the garment.  Some stand out pieces included color-blocking while others incorporated leather on the sleeves or as an accent to the already beautifully crafted garment.

Since it is the Fall/Winter 2012 show, there was no shortage of suiting and coats. Many of the suits and overcoats were also double breasted which has become very popular lately. The color scheme stuck to deep navys, maroons and

The accesories were not tho shabby either.  They also included the continuous theme of color-blocking and quilted leather.

All in all we honestly loved the show.  Thanks Tommy, we look forward to the next one.
