After mastering a merry-go-round fashion show last season, Louis Vuitton closes Paris Fashion Week in a style travel extravaganza, showing on a train car dating back to the early 19th century.

BREAKING: Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2012 Line STOLEN!

This morning, Louis Vuitton’s creative director Marc Jacobs literally pulled off a grand spectacle show at the Cour Carrée in Paris by gliding through the venue on a custom built blue lacquered Louis Vuitton titled locomotive.

Seated in pairs, models one by one then de-boarded the car, fiercely walking down the runway in Louis Vuitton 19th century travel heritage inspired looks, followed by a conductor carrying two to three LV bags.

Marc Jacobs explained in a post interview that he wanted to channel the past with LV’s latest collection, so why not take a trip?

“Things looking like they were from another time. It’s just a trip,” he said.

We’re pretty much speechless after this one, so take a look at the amazing Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 RTW opening ceremony below and see for yourself.
