Each year thousands of tourists head to Washington, DC to watch the beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival celebrities the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, DC. Since then the bestial has become the site for numerous parades, shows, and cool events.Head down to DC and participate in the free event. The Festival will take place from March 20th to April 27th, 2012!

This totally free event held in honor of Washington’s cherry blossom season creates events for “kids of all ages” to enjoy art activities, art demonstrations and tons of outdoor performances. It’s the perfect thing way to save money and spend time with your family.
