Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino took to his website to set the record clean and dispel rumors about his reckless drug abuse.

The reality star’s rep released a statement saying Mike:
“spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.”
Everything was quickly clarified when the guido personality reached out to his many fans and announced:
“I want to set the record straight. I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys.”

While this isn’t Mike’s first stab at rehabilitation as his father Frank “The Confrontation” Sorrentino describes, Mike’s hectic schedule and prescription medicine abuse has driven the workout aficionado back to the cuckoo’s nest — so to speak.
