Things are heating up in the circumstances surrounding Whitney Houstons death, as Beverly Hills police turn their ongoing investigation towards how Houston acquired the drugs that contributed to her death! They want to know whether the cocaine was hidden from police and first responders.

DETAILS: Whitney Houston’s Cocaine Is Under Investigation

According to reports, a close friend of Whitney Houston named Raffles van Exel told a Dutch Newspaper he cleaned up the pop star’s hotel room the night she died. Could he have been the one who removed the bag of cocaine from the pop star’s room?

While Raffles doesn’t say what he removed, he does tell the papers, “Someone had to do it.”

DETAILS: Whitney Houston’s Cause Of Death Revealed

If the name sounds familiar it’s widely believed that Raffles is the one who sold the picture of Whitney Houston’s body inside her casket to the National Enquirer.

A source from the funeral home says when the picture showed up on the cover of the Enquirer, they told the Houstons they thought van Exel was behind it, but they basically brushed them off.

“They didn’t do anything about it,” said the source. “They’re protecting him. How come they haven’t gotten him out of their circle?”

Nonetheless, after last week when the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office declared Houston, 48, died from an accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub with the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use,” the authorities are looking for answers.

Do you think Raffles removed cocaine from Whitney’s room, or is he out to make another buck from the thirsty tabloids?
