Russell Brand and Katy Perry are that much closer to eliminating ties all together. Brand relinquished his interest in the home both divorcees bought together while they were once happily married.

According to TMZ, Brand filed a quitclaim deed in L.A., offering Perry all rights to the house, worth $6.5 million—lock, stock and barrel.
What’s more convenient, however, is Brand’s newly-purchased, state-of-the-art bachelor pad that sits lavishly on the Hollywood Hills and is worth $1.5 million. He wittingly bought his new home after he and pop star wife Katy Perry split in December.
