George Zimmerman has updated his website once again and thanked supporters for their help in providing money for his living expenses and legal defense.

STORY: The 411 On Trayvon Martin State Attorney Angela Corey

Zimmerman wrote on his site, Therealgeorgezimmerman.com, that he has been trying to respond to those helping him and he is appreciative of their continued support:

I am attempting to respond to each and everyone of my supporters personally. The support has been overwhelming in volume and strength. I thank you all and ask that you permit me the time to respond to each one of you personally. Once again thank you.

Sincerely,

George Zimmerman

A letter written by Zimmerman himself is the first thing on the homepage, and it explains how the 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain has been living after the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

The site was built for his supporters to give him money, as he has not been able to work or sustain adequate income.

Zimmerman refers to the shooting death of Trayvon as an “Incident.” The rest of the site is filled with quotes from American heroes such as Thomas Payne, Edmund Burke and James W. Loewen.

Late yesterday, Zimmerman attorneys Hal Uhrig and Craig Sonner held a press conference at the Seminole County courthouse and announced that they have “lost contact” with Zimmerman and that they are no longer his lawyers.

Uhrig also confirmed that they haven’t seen or heard from Zimmerman since Sunday, but they know where he is at the moment, and have his phone number. Zimmerman has left Florida, but will not flee the country.
