Maiden Noir’s newest collection entitled ‘Wasted Youth’ draws lines to American youth in the Vietnam War era. Designer Nin Truong used military references, fabrics, and patterns throughout the designs.

The clothing line has photo-realistic prints of soldier’s equipment and cartoon bengal tigers. Bengal tigers are prelevant in Vietnam and there are  stories of U.S. soldiers running into them during the war.

Truong collaborated with Porter Japan on for the wallets and carriers in the collection. Only a handful of outlets carry Maiden Noir’s clothing. ‘Wasted Youth’ is currently avaible through the Canadian retailer HAVEN.
